Poster Presentation

Poster Presentations - Proposal deadlines are now closed.

For any current undergraduate or honours student who wants to visually present at the S4S Conference this is for you. Your poster should address one or more of the three streams - food, environment or ethics. You must also demonstrate how it relates to the theme of 'HOPE for the future', and incorporates sustainability, design and/or innovation. Applications close on the 15 August.

Your posters must be visually engaging, creative, clearly laid out, and interesting to look at. Your poster must be A2 in size or larger and use font no smaller than 20 point.

In your poster should address and include:

  • The idea, project, topic or issue in relation to one or more of the streams
  • Relevance to conference theme, HOPE for the future
  • Relevance to sustainability, design and/or innovation
  • Describe your solution or outcomes, explaining how and where we need to head in the future
  • Any relevant literature reviewed, pictures and/or collected data as applicable
  • Your full name and university

A poster session will take place allowing the author to give a short overview of their poster and answer any questions your peers might have over morning tea.

Posters will not be judged by a panel for inclusion. Please attach your draft poster to your presenters online form submission. Incomplete applications and proposals will not be eligible to present. Poster presenters are not eligible for conference assistance.

Examples are provided below for your reference only and are not to be plagiarized.

It is the responsibility of the student to bring their poster and mount it before the conference begins 15 or 16 September.
