Revitalising rainfall-runoff estimates (PDF File 88.6 KB) (opens in a new window)
Dr Ataur Rahman from the School of Engineering is revising the way engineers estimate design runoff for places where no recorded runoff data is available. The project aims to allow engineers to make more accurate designs of urban and water-related structures such as bridges, causeways and dams to reduce flood damage. This project is funded by Engineers Australia.
