In conjunction with a public lecture titled American Dreaming is Indigenous Elimination as part of the HUMAN NATURE Sydney Environmental Humanities Lecture Series (Australian Museum, 23 August 2018), Associate Professor Kim TallBear will be leading a postgraduate workshop titled “Sex”, “Spirit”, “Nature” and Good Relations. The workshop is open to those working in the Environmental Humanities. The workshop is free of charge but places are strictly limited to 20. Participants will be selected based on a 100-word expression of interest. Preference will be given to HDR students and academics from the University of New South Wales, the University of Sydney, Western Sydney University, and Macquarie University. Successful participants will be asked to read some selected work and write a 1-2 page response on the idea of being in good relation. Detailed instructions will be circulated two weeks prior to the workshop.
