The Marriage Equality Debate: Law, Politics and Religion This public seminar explores some of the legal issues around the current marriage equality debate. Does marriage equality pose a risk to religious freedom? Conversely does a lack of marriage equality pose a risk to religious freedom? What role should religion play in the debate? Is the debate really about equality? Is a plebiscite a good idea?
