Description

We are pleased to advise the University has subscribed to Nature Masterclasses, a valuable professional development resource developed by Nature Research (publisher of Nature and Scientific American). Through this subscription, Western Sydney University staff and students are able to access the online course Effective Collaboration in Research. This course would be of value to researchers in establishing, participating or leading collaborative research projects. It is a three-part course, providing eight hours of learning across multiple ‘bite-size’ lessons, enabling you to complete the learning at your own pace. To learn more about Nature Masterclasses, please join one of the upcoming launch presentations, which will cover: What is ‘Nature Masterclasses’ and why it is a fantastic resource for researchers. How to get started – setting up and accessing your account. How to use the course, highlighting various useful features. How to gain more value through other social learning and communication features available through Nature Masterclasses. There will also be an opportunity after the presentation to go through any questions you may have. There are three sessions available.

Session 1: Friday 26 June, 11.00am – 12.00pm

Session 2: Tuesday 30 June, 10.00am – 11.00am

Session 3: Thursday 2 July, 1.30 – 2.30pm
