• Describe the scope and content of Compendex within the Engineering Village platform, including its relevance to engineering research
• Create and manage a personal Engineering Village account to save searches, set up alerts, and organize research materials
• Utilize the built-in thesaurus to identify and apply indexed terms for more precise search results
• Construct effective search strategies using Boolean operators, filters (e.g., physical properties, classification codes, ICS codes), autostemming, and treatment options
• Locate full-text resources and export citations to reference management tools such as EndNote for streamlined research workflows
