The “African Expressions of Christianity in Australia” report is co-authored by Prof Cristina Rocha (WSU) and Dr Kathleen Openshaw (WSU) and Matthew Clancy (YACWA). It draws on the ARC Discovery project entitled ‘The African Diaspora and Pentecostalism in Australia’ and was commissioned by the African Australian Advocacy Centre (AAAC). It highlights the complex relationship between African expressions of Christianity and settlement in Australia. This report offers evidence-based recommendations aimed at government, not-for profit organisations and other settlement support services.
