Biography
Emily majored in art history and screen culture during her BA and studied sexual representation in portrait photography for her Honours thesis. After the birth of her children, she turned her attention to social and cultural issues of reproduction.
Research Interests
Emily's research interests echo the eclectic nature of her BA, but focus on spirituality and childbearing, particularly the feminist spirituality of home birth, and the rituals and ceremonies of home birth in Australia.
