Hawkesbury Agricultural College Open Day
Description
This Open Day was held in conjunction with an international horticultural exhibition, the largest ever staged in Australia by 1978. Demonstrations included how to breed horses, bread baking, weaving, and how to grow Australian shrubs. This film includes an aerial view of the College and views of the sheep paddocks. There is footage of the orchard and fruit picking, horse demonstrations and a view of Stable Square. The principal at the time, Dr Graham Swain, provides his views on the College and its role.
