Office of Marketing and Communication

We are excited to announce that as part of the broader ESM program we are implementing a number of Marketing and Communications services into WesternNow.

The Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC) plays a pivotal role in ensuring the University’s strategic position is clearly communicated, both internally and externally. In March 2020, we ran a series of discovery workshops with teams within OMC.  During the workshops, we identified a range of suitable WesternNow opportunities which we are now taking forward into the design phase which commenced mid-April.

In the design phase, we are working with staff across OMC to design forms and workflows within ServiceNow.  This will all be backed by process mapping to help guide the progression of OMC services, plus developing more knowledge articles to help you find your answers more easily.

This phase is also informed by a range of voices from Schools, Divisions and Institutes to make sure that the forms and workflows designed work for everyone who needs to use them.  Following the design phase, we will move to building the forms within ServiceNow.  In this phase we will deliver hands-on demonstrations and test scenarios before we go live with any service.
