Office of Strategy, Performance and Risk

The Office of Strategy, Performance and Risk is a catalyst for strategic planning and performance, fostering collaboration, monitoring performance, and integrating risk at all levels, playing a pivotal role in enabling the University’s core mission and shaping strategies for success.

The Office reports into the Division of the Senior Deputy Vice-Chancellor (SDVC) and provides a critical enterprise-wide function that will drive, facilitate, coordinate, and implement forward-looking strategies to enable WSU’s Vision and Strategy.

Key functional aspects of the portfolio include the integrated strategic and operational planning framework, integrated risk management, strategic and operational performance, enabling strategy planning and performance, business and service performance improvement, project management and assurance, and transformational program oversight and delivery.

These strategic programs are aimed at addressing the broad and evolving challenges being experienced by the University such as increased globalisation, advances in technology, increasing competition and changes to funding models.
