Frequently asked questions
The Graduate Certificate in Business Administration is a six months full-time or one year part-time course and is designed to set the foundation of knowledge and skills in the core competencies of business and management. Applicants must have have a minimum of eight years full-time equivalent professional/managerial work experience OR have successfully completed an undergraduate degree, or higher, in any discipline and have a minimum five years full-time equivalent managerial/professional work experience to apply for this course.
Many of our courses are fully accredited by Australia’s leading industry associations, including Chartered Accountants of Australia, the Australian Property Institute and the Australian Human Resources Institute.
The Master of Financial Planning from Western’s Postgraduate Business School, SGSM, meets these new Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority Limited (FASEA) requirements. Our degree is also accredited by the FPA and AFA, meaning students will be eligible to apply for membership once graduated.
