Travel and Accommodation

Travel

For most attendees, the easiest way to reach the campus will be to catch a train to Parramatta and take the very short walk to the 1PSQ conference venue at 169 Macquarie St, Parramatta.

For a map of the venue, please see Google Maps (opens in a new window).

Trains to Parramatta run frequently (on average every 5-15 minutes) from Central Station on the Western, Cumberland, and Blue Mountains lines. Depending on the train, travel times vary, but are usually less than 30 minutes. Visit Transport toolkit (opens in a new window) to plan your trip.

You will need to buy an Opal Card (opens in a new window) available at railway stations, Woolworths or many convenience stores across the city. The card is rechargeable and accesses all modes of public transport (trains, buses and ferries).

Presenters are required to register for the conference and must pay the appropriate registration fee in order to ensure their abstract is included in the final program. The ASCP and Western Sydney University are unable to provide financial support for conference attendees and presenters with regards to flights, accommodation or other expenses relating to the conference.
