Getting started
You're at the start of one of the most memorable periods of your life. Besides the many friends to be made, social life and other university mainstays, your time at university will challenge you, inspire you and most of all prepare you to take on any challenge you may face.
It is important that you enrol into your units and register for your tutorials. See the information below to get started now.
Enrolment
Enrolling is the first and most important thing you need to do when starting at Western Sydney University. You need to complete your enrolment in My Student Records (MySR).
International Students
Before enrolling, International Students must accept their offer and activate their account. Please view the How to Accept page for step by step instructions.
Tutorial registration
Tutorial Registration is how you choose your tutorials (and other classes) and put together your timetable. Allocate+ is the online system used to complete this process.
You'll need to make sure you are enrolled in all of your units. After being allocated into your classes, you may be able to swap classes depending on availability.

Student ID cards
Students can now apply for their Student ID card to be posted to them by following these steps:
- Go to onlineid.westernsydney.edu.au and upload a photo that meets our guidelines.
- Email idcard@westernsydney.edu.au with your photo along with primary and secondary proof of identification.
Please view the getting your new Student ID Card document for photo guidelines and acceptable documentation.
Offshore International Students do not need to undertake the Student ID Card process while overseas. You can get your Student ID Card once you arrive in Australia.
TalkCampus
TalkCampus is a free app that you can download onto your device to talk anonymously to other students from universities and colleges around the world. Access free mental health support, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
TalkCampus is a safe student network that’s all about support. This means you can talk to your peers about exam stress, anxiety, depression and a range of other matters. The app is available in 25 languages including English, Mandarin, Cantonese, Hindi, Urdu and Bengali.
The TalkCampus app is available for free to all Western students. You can download the app from Google Play or the App Store. To sign up, please use your Western student email address to unlock the app free of charge. For more information, visit the TalkCampus webpage.


Parking on campus
Planning on driving to campus? Get ready with a permit for your upcoming session. We have daily, half-yearly and annual permits available.
