Campus Life

Get involved, meet new people and make your time at Western a memorable one. Life as a student is rich and exciting. It’s about so much more than classes, study and assessments; it’s about making new friends, exploring new things and having FUN! Our friendly Campus Life team are dedicated to providing unique and engaging events for our students, from trivia to outdoor cinema nights, if you want it they’ve thought of it.

MATES is a peer led program that provides first year students with an opportunity to connect with other new students and mentors in later years of study. Through a MATES Mentor you will have the opportunity to meet and network with other students and gain knowledge and skills to settle into life at university.

Student Clubs

With over 100 Student Clubs to choose from, our students have a vibrant social life on and off campus. With opportunities to connect to interest-based professional and social groups across campuses and online, it’s a great way to meet new people and make friends! Your Voice on Campus

The W’SUP newspaper is an independent, student run newspaper. Submit original articles, stories, artwork, photos, game and movie reviews and anything else you can think of that your fellow students might find interesting. Your submissions help keep W'SUP the voice of Western Sydney University students. Check out the latest news from W'SUP online.
The Student Representative Council (SRC) are your voice on campus, if you have a concern or suggestion – or if you want to join – just get in touch. Becoming a Student Representative is a fantastic way to engage with the University and develop leadership skills you can take with you into the workplace. If you can dream it you can play it at Western! From social lunchtime Basketball or Dodgeball, to supporting our elite athletes to succeed both on and off the field. Partnerships at Western

Here at Western, we’re committed to our region and supporting the health and well-being of our communities in Western Sydney.

Because of this, we partner with several organisations such as the brand new Sydney Zoo, Western Sydney Wanderers Football Club, GWS GIANTS Football Club, Bankwest Stadium, and Western Sydney and South Western Sydney Academy of Sports. These partnerships provide access to a range of educational student benefits, including internships at partner organisations.
