Rachel Gregory-Wilson, 2023 Leave granted through the Academic Professional Development (ADP) program will enable me to: fully engage in research, write up and disseminate findings and submit my PhD for examination. ADP leave will enable collaboration in the area of child protection research with stakeholder Karitane, and build connections and facilitate networking with the NSW Children’s Court and Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ). My PhD project and publications that will arise from it, will raise awareness on child protection issues and the long term impacts on child health and wellbeing - an area of ‘sustainability’ and a priority area for the University.
Lucie Ramjan, 2023 The primary objective of my proposed Academic Development Program (ADP) is to undertake field research and site visits furthering my work in eating disorders and nursing education with international researchers (USA), InsideOut Institute (Sydney) and SWAN Research group (Melbourne) consolidating my research track record and industry networks in the eating disorders and higher education fields. A secondary objective is to evaluate the acceptability and feasibility of an alternative credential short course for nurses. I will present at conference/s and write 3 manuscripts for publication in high quality Q1, journals. The outcomes will contribute to enhancing the profile of the School and University.

Quincy Wong, 2023 The proposed ADP will further develop my research reputation in suicide prevention and strengthen collaborations with the Black Dog Institute. With collaborators, I plan to: 1) publish four articles in high quality international peer-reviewed journals (three articles using existing datasets and a systematic review), and 2) prepare a grant application that develops my knowledge/skills in the translation of research findings into clinical practice. This will contribute to the Health and Wellbeing Research Theme and mental health National Health Priority area, significantly enhance the research reputation of the School of Psychology and the University, and provide a pathway for continued collaborations.
