International Exchange Scholarship

The University has a range of exchange opportunities with partner institutions in countries including the United States of America, Canada, the United Kingdom, Europe, Latin America, Asia and Scandinavia.

As a full-time student, you can complete a semester or a year of your course overseas and have the results credited towards your degree. At various times, the University will offer different forms of financial support.

Criteria

Applicants must:

  • be Australian citizens or permanent residents of Australia
  • be in their second or subsequent year of undergraduate study
  • be officially nominated as an endorsed exchange candidate by the International Office

Application and Selection Process

You will need to register to be considered for the International Exchange Scholarship, and can only do so once you've been accepted into the Western Sydney University Go Global Exchange Program, have been nominated to an overseas exchange partner and have received a formal offer/acceptance of an exchange place at that overseas exchange partner. Selection will be made on the basis of meeting the minimum Grade Point Average of 5 (credit average) and/or equity considerations. Scholarships will be awarded to the top ranking students each semester.

Conditions

This scholarship may only be granted once to any student.
