Zonta Club of Sydney Hills Inc.

The Zonta Club of Sydney Hills Inc. is a Women's Service Club, contributing to the Hills and Parramatta Area Communities since 1979, and part of Zonta International, founded in 1919.

Zonta is a worldwide organisation of executives in business and the professions working together through service and advocacy to advance the status of women, both locally and internationally.

Zonta International envisions a world in which women's rights are recognised as human rights and every woman is able to achieve her full potential. In such a world every woman is literate and has access to education, health care, legal and economic resources on an equal basis with men. In such a world, no woman lives in fear of violence.

Zonta support this scholarship to encourage female students to undertake studies through The College in preparation for a degree at Western Sydney University.

Applications and Selection Process

Applicants must provide a statement in support of their application indicating how they believe the receipt of the scholarship will assist them with their studies and in their future career. This statement should give a sufficient explanation of the applicant's background and current circumstances to enable the University to judge their eligibility, need and merit.

Successful applicants will be selected based on their written application, academic potential, their ability to meet the criteria and, where appropriate, performance in an interview before a selection panel.
