Luca Belgiorno-Nettis

Luca Belgiorno-Nettis is Managing Director of Transfield Holdings and Prisma Investment, a private family investment business. He is the founder of the newDemocracy Foundation, a not-for-profit organisation focused on political reform.

Luca has held senior management positions within Transfield Pty Ltd, including Associate Managing Director from 1999 to 2007, Regional Director Asia from 1991 to 1999, and Sabemo Development Director from 1988 to 1989. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of New South Wales and a Graduate Diploma in Urban Estate Management from the University of Technology Sydney. In 2004, he was made a member of the Order of Australia for service to the arts and to the community. In 2007, he was awarded the Chancellor's Award for Excellence at the University of Technology Sydney for his contribution to Sydney's culture.

In 2014, Mr Belgiorno-Nettis AM was awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Letters by Western Sydney University.

Applications are to be submitted through the Universities Admissions Centre. Shortlisted applicants, as determined by the UAC Equity Ranking, may be required to make a written submission in support of their application.
