The Merit Scholarship is available to students who have demonstrated academic excellence in their studies. Students will be ranked for eligibility by their Grade Point Average (GPA) in the Diploma Program.

$2,500 per year for up to two years*
*full-time, or part-time equivalent
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following eligibility criteria:
Citizenship:
- an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible New Zealand Citizen**

Enrolment:
- continuing student
Program/s:
- The College Diploma Program
Additional:
- have a GPA of above 5.0
- successfully completed the Diploma Program at The College in the minimum time.
Applications and Selection Process
The criteria for eligibility for the Scholarship is based on students demonstrated academic excellence in their studies. A GPA of above 5.0 must be reached for eligibility.
Out of the 10 Academic Merit Scholarships a maximum number of four scholarships per year will be awarded to international students who meet the criteria. Successful recipients will be awarded $5,000 ($2,500 during the first year study at Western Sydney University and $2,500 during the second year of study at Western Sydney University).
The Selection Committee will comprise representatives from The College.
