The OATSIEE Ambassador Program's objective is to raise awareness of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural appreciation in the University community and to provide resources through the OATSIEE Action Plan for individuals and work units to learn more. The objective is met through:

- Presentations delivered by Ambassadors, many who have first-hand experience in working across cultures

- Referral to practical solutions

- Resources available through the OATSIEE website

- Resources available through work units delivering cultural goods and services

Who is an Ambassador?

OATSIEE Ambassadors have experience working across cultures. The OATSIEE Ambassador Program recruits and trains individuals from a wide variety of professional backgrounds, personal interests, cultural and religious affiliations as well as diverse communities.

They are not paid for their time but they are supported by OATSIEE staff.
