Student Experience Liverpool Hospital

Student at Liverpool Hospital

In 2016 the School was successful in receiving strategic funding from the Vice Chancellor for 2017 to support Nursing students attending PPE classes at Liverpool Hospital in the Ngara Education Centre.

Currently 15 students are undertaking a 2nd year PPE3 class, facilitated by the Unit Coordinator Tracy Parrish.  A different class, PPE2 will be offered in Spring session.

These students have been exemplary representatives of the SoNM. Whilst at the Centre they are required to wear their uniforms and we have received excellent feedback about the professionalism of our students from LHD staff attending courses in the facility, commenting on their uniform and behaviour.

Student feedback has also been positive, with students commenting on how impressed they are with the facility and to be offered this experience.
