Best Researcher Paper 2022

After reviewing the competitively high standard of research papers undertaken in 2022, NICM HRI has announced their 2022 recipients of Best Researcher Paper Award. This year the award was undertaken across one category: Postgraduate Student.

Congratulations to the below 2022 award recipients:

• Best Postgraduate Paper: Kayla Jaye
• Highly Commended Postgraduate Paper: Justin Sinclair

Kayla Jaye was awarded for her review of carcinogenic and anticancer activity of gut microbial metabolites, their interaction with the immune system and tumour microenvironment.

Justin Sinclair was awarded for his research article investigating the use of medicinal cannabis for the management of endometriosis.
