NICM HRI Medicinal Cannabis Research Update 2020

Join us virtually on Thursday 3 September to hear from Australia's leading medicinal cannabis researchers and their latest findings in a two-and-half hour Zoom session.

This free event is open to researchers, academics, students and industry with an interest in the evolving medicinal cannabis research space. Attendees will also have the opportunity to ask each speaker questions after each presentation.

Keynote speaker:

• Dr Janet Schloss from Southern Cross University will present her teams findings from the recently completed randomised double-blind trial investigating medicinal cannabis for glioblastoma multiforme. Outcomes of this study included disease response by FACT-Br, MRI imaging, blood pathology, adverse effects and clinical monitoring.

Guest speakers:

• Professor Iain McGregor and Associate Professor Jonathon Arnold from the Lambert Initiative at The University of Sydney.
• Professor Jennifer Martin and colleagues from the Australian Centre for Cannabinoid Clinical and Research Excellence (ACRE).
• Professor Tim Karl, Dr Mike Armour and colleagues from NICM Health Research Institute and Western Sydney University.
