Mohammad Tariq joined NICM Health Research Institute as an Adjunct Professor in 2019. Adjunct Professor Mohammad Tariq is involved in a range of research activities including the pharmacological and clinical studies of Bush Medicine, Ayurvedic and Arabic Medicine. He has previously served as Coordinator of Research and Ethical Committee and the Research Methodology Teaching Program as well as a member of the Faculty of Medicine at Aligarh Muslim University Aligarh, India and later as Professor of Pharmacology at King Saud University in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. Professor Tariq has an established record of publications and has served as on reviewers panel and editorial board of several medical journals.

Adjunct Professor Tariq has interest in the safety, efficacy and quality control of herbal drugs used in Indian and Arabic Traditional Medicine, as well as the pharmacokinetics, drug interaction and bioavailability of drugs.
