Western Sydney Integrative Health (WSIH), in partnership with Myhealth, offers evidence-based supportive care to complement conventional treatment. Our integrative health services support wellbeing, help manage symptoms and enhance quality of life across a range of health conditions, including cancer care.
Services include:
Acupuncture – May help with pain, fatigue, stress, digestive issues, sleep concerns and overall wellbeing.
Massage Therapy – Tailored massage to reduce stress, relieve muscle tension, improve circulation and support relaxation.
Yoga Therapy – Gentle, personalised movement to support strength, flexibility, stress reduction and overall wellbeing.
Tai Chi – Mindful movement and breathwork to improve balance, physical function, relaxation and sleep.
Nutrition – Personalised nutrition support to improve energy, support overall health and promote wellbeing.
Traditional Chinese Medicine – Holistic care that may include acupuncture, cupping and lifestyle guidance to support balance, manage symptoms and enhance wellbeing.
Naturopathy - Natural, evidence-informed approaches to support energy, manage side effects and improve overall wellbeing.
Dietician - Personalised nutrition support to maintain strength, manage side effects and aid recovery.
Psychology - Professional support to improve emotional wellbeing and help navigate stress, anxiety and life changes.
WSIH CARE
People undergoing cancer treatment may be eligible for subsidised consultations for acupuncture, oncology massage, Tai Chi and private yoga therapy. A referral is not required, but we encourage you to inform your treating doctor to ensure coordinated care. Understanding your diagnosis and treatment stage allows practitioners to personalise support.
Note: Herbal medicines and supplements are generally not prescribed during active cancer treatment without approval from your treating doctor.
WSIH Myhealth is open to the public and conveniently located close to Westmead Station and major public transport links.
