NCCIH 2016 Strategic Plan

3 June 2016

NCCIH has released its 2016 strategic plan, Exploring the Science of Complementary and Integrative Health. The plan identifies the Centre's strategic direction in complementary and integrative health research, including its current top scientific priorities for future research.

The new strategic plan was developed during an 18-month planning process, with input from NCCIH staff, stakeholders, and scientific advisors, as well as guidance from the broader.

The plan will be regularly updated, based on public health needs, new scientific opportunities, research results, changes in the Center's grant portfolio, and budgetary considerations.

The NCCIH says it will continue to rely on and will support highly meritorious investigator-initiated grant applications covering an array of research highlighted in the broader strategic plan.
