17 December 2021

Congratulations to NICM HRI’s Dr Carolyn Ee and Dr Mike Armour as recipients of the 2021 University’s Excellence Awards.

Dr Ee was awarded 2021 Vice-Chancellor’s Excellence in Research by an Early Career Researcher Award. This award recognises and rewards an early career researcher for their demonstrated excellence in research and creativity. The award is aligned with the University’s research priority to build its research profile and generate enhanced research outcomes in selected areas of excellence, particularly those with the potential for high social, economic, environmental and cultural impact.

Dr Amour was recognised for his contribution and leadership of the interdisciplinary team on the project Menstruation Matters, designed for better health literacy and education to teenagers. Dr Amour and the Menstruation Matters team were awarded 2021 Deputy Vice-Chancellor and Vice-President, Research, Enterprise and International Award for Excellence in Research in Interdisciplinary Group Award.
