Chinese Consulate officials tour NICM

NICM's word-class researchers and state-of-the-art scientific facilities were showcased today to representatives from the Chinese Consulate in Sydney.

The delegation headed by Consul Wenqi Niu, Head of Education Office, Chinese Consulate in Sydney, and NICM Director, Professor Alan Bensoussan discussed at length TCM research, the importance of international visiting scholars and international research collaboration between research institutions and universities.

Professor Bensoussan provided an overview of NICM's growth and developments planned for Westmead and beyond. The delegation also heard from NICM's visiting scholars from China who highlighted their current research projects at NICM, and discussed further work and collaborations planned.

It was a pleasure to host the three visiting delegates from the Chinese Consulate in Sydney, Consul Wenqi Niu, Counsel Wenwu Liu, and Counsel Jianbo Liu and we look forward to future meetings.
