New scholarships announced for local students
Liverpool City Council ‘Welcome to Liverpool’ Undergraduate scholarships
- Fifteen one-year equity-based scholarships for Liverpool City campus students.
- Each scholarship is offered for one-year and valued at $2,000 as commencement support.
- Eligible students will be drawn from candidates studying a course at Liverpool City campus and will be selected based on merit and
- opportunity and equity considerations.
The ‘Badgerys Creek Aerotropolis: Western Sydney Airport and Place-Making’ scholarship
- Two scholarships available for the Urban Research Program within the School of Social Sciences and Psychology.
- Awarded to projects that respond to the 2018 Western Sydney City Deal to develop Badgerys Creek Aerotropolis.
- $10,000 per year for the duration of degree (three years).
- Fully funded by the WSU Graduate Research School.
- First scholarships will be recruited in spring semester, 2018.
Brydens Scholarships for the School of Law
- Five scholarships available for new or continuing students.
- Preference for students from Liverpool.
- $7,500 per year for duration of degree (five years).
- First scholarships will be awarded in July, 2018.
Total value of the donation: $187,500.
