ARTEXPRESS to arrive at Western Sydney University

Western Sydney University will host ARTEXPRESS from 5 February at the Margaret Whitlam Galleries, located at the Parramatta campus.

Exhibition curator Monica McMahon says ARTEXPRESS gives the community an opportunity to experience fantastic artworks as well as visit the cultural sites located on the campus.

"Each regional exhibition of ARTEXPRESS is unique and distinct and represents the high standards and diversity of Year 12 Visual Arts students in New South Wales schools," says Ms McMahon.

"The exhibition attracts many high schools, visitors and the wider community who enjoy not only the exhibition but also visit the sculpture and heritage walks while they are on Parramatta campus."

ARTEXPRESS is an exhibition of some of the most outstanding works by 2015 Higher School Certificate visual arts students from across NSW.

The exhibition is a joint initiative of the NSW Department of Education and the Board of Studies, Teaching and Educational Standards NSW (BOSTES) in association with Western Sydney University and The Academy.
