UWS Hawkesbury campus update

Power to the University of Western Sydney’s Hawkesbury campus has been restored and the campus is expected to re-open for business as usual tomorrow, Wednesday 11 September.

Students and staff were sent home earlier today because of the power outage across the Richmond area.

While power has now been restored, due to bushfires in the Hawkesbury region road access into the campus remains limited.

The full re-opening of the campus tomorrow will depend on road access being restored overnight.

If road access is available, the Hawkesbury campus will be open tomorrow and all teaching and other usual operations will resume.
