Final Sessions 2012: A space for music in Sydney’s West

Final year students from the University of Western Sydney will celebrate the end of semester with a special evening of live music at the Joan Sutherland Performing Arts Centre in Penrith.

Final Sessions is an annual event organised by the UWS School of Humanities and Communication Arts, that feature Bachelor of Design and Bachelor of Music students as well as local musicians.

Organiser Katrina Sandbach says Final Sessions 2012 - A Space for Music in Sydney's West is a great platform for students and local musicians to make their mark.

"With Final Sessions we have cultivated an environment that welcomes and supports the diversity of music in western Sydney," she says.

"There's an incredible amount of local talent that many people just don't hear about, so it's a great opportunity to sample what's on offer."

The public is warmly invited to Final Sessions 2012. For further information please contact finalsessions12@gmail.com
