The highly consulted ranking by global higher education analyst QS Quacquarelli Symonds provided independent comparative analysis on the performance of 55 individual subjects across five broad subject areas from universities around the world.

Western Sydney University received a top 200 ranking for eight subjects:

  • Nursing and Development Studies ranked within the top 100
  • Sports-related subjects ranked 101-150

“This achievement is a testament to our staff and students, whose hard work has resulted in this incredible achievement,” said Professor Williams.

“We take immense pride in our university community and these rankings highlight our ongoing commitment to excellence in research, innovative teaching and producing world-class graduates.”
