Linda Kemp, Chief Executive Officer, Complete Recruitment Solutions

Linda Kemp

Linda Kemp, a resident of Glenbrook, is the founder of Complete Recruitment Solutions (CRS) – a recruitment company based in Penrith which work to recruit all levels of personnel, from junior personnel to labourers and senior manager, and place them in permanent and casual employment.

The recruitment industry in Australia has experienced significant challenges since the Global Financial Crisis – with 60% of recruitment consultants in Australia being made redundant; 505  recruitment companies and employment agencies closing their doors; and unemployment at an all-time high.
Despite the challenges in the sector, Linda managed to create a survival fund for the company, renegotiated all existing contracts, increased advertising and publicity, targeted growth industries for new business opportunities, and attended every networking function to ensure that CRS maintained a high community profile.
CRS has since grown to encompass a team of 11 permanent staff members, servicing an average of 150-200 casual workers each week. The success of the company is testament to Linda's stoic leadership and ingenuity.
Linda's favourite saying is "you only get one chance to make a first impression", and she carries this motto throughout all of her business efforts – maintaining a commitment to exceeding client's expectations; supporting people; and focusing on quality, professionalism and integrity.
Linda has been an active member of the Penrith Valley Chamber of Commerce, as an elected Executive member. She also gives generously of her time to a number of local organisations and charities including the Board of the United Way Penrith Community Fund which focuses on fundraising for the needy in the local area.
In 2011 Linda became a Fellow of the Recruitment and Consulting Services Association (RCSA) and was Complete Recruitment Solutions was awarded 2011 Business of the Year in the Local Business Awards. In 2012 the business was awarded the Australian Achiever Award for Customer Service and the Australian Small Business Champion Award for Recruitment Services.
Marise Payne, Liberal Senator for New South Wales, supported Linda's nomination for the 2013 Women of the West Award. Senator Payne's personal recommendation states:
"Nothing is too much to ask of Linda, she is the original "can do" person. At community events, working with businesses in the local Chamber or fundraising for the disadvantaged, she is always there... I would go as far as to say no activity in our area, business or community, is complete without Linda Kemp and CRS."
