Western Sydney University's 2025 events calendar prioritises community connections

Western Sydney University has released its new events schedule for 2025(opens in a new window) – a calendar of activities and engagements that both celebrate and showcase the unlimited potential of the Western Sydney region.

Director of Partnerships and Advocacy, Mr Tom Nance, said the calendar gives the public a great snapshot of the many events planned to bring together the University, its partners and supporters.

He said the events are an important platform co-created with the University and its communities to spotlight the unique perspectives, voices and thought leadership from the very people who live, work and advocate for the region.

“Nowhere is growing more rapidly than Western Sydney,” said Mr Nance.

“These events are all about prioritising the community’s voices in mapping our region’s future.

“Whether it's celebrating the remarkable achievements of our students, telling the story of our innovative industry and community partners, or holding governments to account, our events shine a light on everything that makes western Sydney so amazing.”
