Western Sydney University and Navitas commit to long-term presence in central Sydney
Western Sydney University and Navitas are pleased to have signed a 10-year agreement cementing their long-term commitment to the University’s Sydney City campus.
Navitas has delivered undergraduate and postgraduate programs on behalf of the University at the Sydney City campus since it opened in 2017. From an initial intake of less than 20 students, it has grown rapidly into a vibrant community of 1,400 students as well as teachers and support staff from the University and Navitas.
The Sydney City campus offers students a range of University undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, arts, communication, engineering, IT, and health in the heart of Australia’s most cosmopolitan city.
Vice-Chancellor and President of Western Sydney University, Professor Barney Glover AO, welcomed the signing of the 10-year partnership with Navitas.
“The Sydney City campus is an important part of our campus network. It continues to be instrumental in supporting Western Sydney University’s internationalisation strategies, with the city campus welcoming approximately half its students from overseas,” said Professor Glover.
“We are very pleased to continue our partnership with Navitas over the next decade – together we will continue to deliver a high-quality educational experience for our students and provide them with a vibrant on-campus community in the heart of Sydney.”
Scott Jones, Group CEO Navitas, says the proven success of the Sydney City campus is testimony to the combined expertise and experience of both the University and Navitas.
