The Bachelor of Health Science (Health Service Management) has Professional Accreditation with the Australasian College of Health Service Management (ACHSM). The Bachelor of Health Science (Recreational Therapy) has been granted accreditation from Diversional and Recreation Therapy Australia (DRTA). 

Graduates can look forward to career opportunities in health planning, community engagement or as a project/recreational officer, practice manager and diversional or leisure therapist. Opportunities also exist in health policy analysis, health research, digital health, health facilities management, health financial management or health advocacy.

This degree can lead to multiple career outcomes, including sport and recreation positions, health promotion and education. Progression into the Master of Teaching (Secondary) is guaranteed, leading to accreditation by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). Graduates of this degree can look forward to career opportunities in personal training; sports coaching; community-based recreation or with further study become a secondary PDHPE teacher.

In the first two years of this program, you will complete studies in paramedicine, biomedical science, and health science. From your first year of studies you will be exposed to practical experience via having your first emergency placement. The final year of the program focuses predominantly on the practice of paramedicine and associated innovations. The theoretical elements of this course will be supplemented with extensive practical experience including two clinical placements with a paramedic team.

Get three months of supervised clinical practice with an emergency ambulance service. Undertake short placements in paramedicine, mental health, and community and primary healthcare or take up an international clinical placement.
