Exponents - Powers
Some numbers can be written in index or exponential form. This involves a base and an exponent, which is also referred to as a power or index. Base 2 and 10 are the most common bases in computing.
This is said as $2$ cubed or $2$ to the power of $3$.
This is an example of repeated multiplication and the value of $2^3$ is $2\times 2\times 2=8$.
