Supervising Western Sydney University Students
Welcome to current and future GP supervisors of Western Sydney University medical students. We provide a five-year undergraduate program particularly focussed on the health and workforce needs of the communities of Greater Western Sydney as well as our rural clinical schools in the Northern Rivers and Central West of NSW.
Students complete General Practice placements in years 1-5 of the program and also have opportunities to undertake research and further elective terms in General Practice.
Our students and graduates are achieving a reputation for enthusiastic engagement with patients and communities, excellent clinical and communication skills and a strong commitment to working in areas of need. They greatly value their experience in General Practice and many are enrolling in General Practice training following graduation.
Please see our overview document and follow the links below to learn more about the role of a GP Supervisor for Western Sydney students. Please contact Sharon Lawrence s.lawrence@westernsydney.edu.au if you are interested in joining our GP supervisor team.
