Summary background/interest area:
As a practitioner currently DSC/ I am struggling to resolve the conflict between improved rural livelihoods and sustainable ground water management. Thus, I am interested in trying to work out ways – institutional including information, research, capacity building needs, technical, financial and policy for resolving this dilemma. Of particular interest is on demand side management and management of aquifers by local communities.
