Summary background/interest area:
- PhD in Civil Engineering, University of Adelaide, 1984 “Ephemeral stream-aquifer interaction”.
- Master of Business Administration, University of Adelaide, 1996.
Peter is interested in research on all aspects of managed aquifer recharge including water quality, governance, health, environment, maintenance and economics. He has studied MAR projects in India from 1980 and is currently researching the use of stormwater for aquifer recharge for all water uses including irrigation and drinking. He serves as Chair of the International Association of Hydrogeologists Commission on Managing Aquifer Recharge.
Role in the Project
His role in the project is to confer with and advise counterparts as required on hydrogeological and water quality aspects, including recharge options, monitoring, data interpretation, quality control and synthesis.
