Biography

Associate Professor Katsumi Yamamoto has been working in the research field of experimental phonetics. His research interest is prosody and is working with Professor Anne Cutler on comparison of the role of prosodic cues in the word-stress perception between L1 Japanese listeners and native listeners of English.

Purpose of Visit

Associate Professor Yamamoto will be visiting Professor Anne Cutler and her group, to collaborate on the comparison of the role of prosodic cues in the word-stress perception between L1 Japanese listeners and native listeners of English
