Psychology (School of Social Science and Psychology)
I started my studies in mathematics and computer science; while in the US, I switched to psychology and neuroscience.
Cognitive Neuroscience, Neural Networks, Neuropsychology, and brain imaging.
- Computational modelling:
Specifically, I am interested in using neural network, Bayesian, and algebraic models to simulate Cognitive and Motor processes, including topics as locomotion, motor learning, language production, and other kinds of motor actions.
- Cognitive and neuropsychological studies:
To test model predictions, I also conduct behavioural experiments of motor and cognitive processes in patient populations. My behavioural experiments reveal the importance of various neural systems in motor and cognitive processes.
- Brain imaging:
I am also involved in brain imaging studies to test motor and cognitive processes.
