This presentation will focus on exploring some of the unique research communication strategies to maximise the impact of research. With a non-traditional approach, this webinar will bring light to less explored communication activities that can help the researcher to demonstrate and assess impact beyond scholarly contributions to a research field.

Biography: Jasbeer is a Research Officer at the Impact Young and Resilient Research Centre, Institute for Culture and Society (ICS), Western Sydney University, where he also recently completed his Ph.D. in media studies. He has a post-graduate degree in Communication Studies from Bangalore University, India, and over ten years' experience working in Communication and Journalism. Jasbeer has worked on numerous projects including the ‘Australian Cultural Field’ (ARC Discovery Project) as a research assistant. He has a keen interest in research impact strategies, knowledge mobilisation and translation, as well as research impact communications.
