Biography

I completed my PhD in marketing from University of Technology, Sydney in 2001 and started teaching in the School of Business, Western Sydney University in 2003. I am Fellow of AdvanceHE (FHEA), UK. My learning and teaching achievements highlight my significant contributions to higher education, particularly to innovative curriculum design, industry-academis partnerships, and adaptive teaching methodologies. I have developed new  subject like MKTG3020 omnichannel marketing using partnership pedagogy co-designing learning artefacts with industry leaders like Commonwealth Bank, DHL Express Australia. I have presented in the Learning and Teaching Showcase 2024 on the experiential learning methods like Lego Serious Play based on constructionist theory. Through my proactive intervention strategies, I have achieved significant positive results in student retention and success. I regularly use interactive technologies in the classroom for enhancing student engagement.

Research Interests

My research focuses on how individuals and organisations interact with new-age technologies and their impact on well-being, financial inclusion, and consumer behaviour. I investigate how businesses can leverage these technologies to craft better products, services, and user experiences. I have developed collaborations with researchers in Australia and India, and accomplished positive outcomes. Leading research teams, I published in Schimago Q1 journals and mentored emerging researchers. My current projects are AI generated advertising and impact on older adults, new-age Fintech deferred payment services, and AI adoption related challenges and developments in the SMEs in Western Sydney Region.
