3. The specific heat of a substance is the amount of heat energy required to raise the temperature of 1 g of the substance by 1o C. With $E$ = energy in Joules, $m$ = mass of material in grams, and $T$ = temperature change in degrees C we can write this as specific heat $=\frac{E}{mT}$. The specific heat of water is 4.184 J/goC. How much heat energy is needed to raise 250 g of water from 20o C to 80o C?
