Future of Work and Curriculum Disruption Forums
As part of the 21C Curriculum Project, the University hosted a series of forums on the Future of Work and Curriculum Disruption commencing in November 2017.
The forums explored the key ideas and perspectives on the Future of Work that might usefully inform the development of new future facing curricula. They provided opportunities for staff to engage with industry and community leaders, researchers on the Future of Work, curriculum innovators and students, to explore how our curriculum might respond to the Future of Work for members of the Greater Western Sydney community. Importantly, the forums connected staff with future collaborators on Flagship Curriculum Projects (opens in a new window).
The forums were designed by the 21C Curriculum Project Advisory Group to support staff and university curriculum partners better understand the implications of the profound changes to the future of work for higher education. They explored the key issues involved in designing curriculum to embed partnership pedagogies and (future of) work integrated learning, in technology-rich environments.
