Secretariat
The Secretariat within the Office of Governance Services look after the Board of Trustees and its Standing Committees, and Academic Senate and its Standing Committees.
In addition to the Board of Trustees, Academic Senate, and their Standing Committees, the team also manage the following Committees and processes for the University.
Progression Appeals
As per the conditions under Part F of the Progression Policy, students may Show Cause to the Academic Senate against exclusion or being placed on conditional enrolment for unsatisfactory academic performance, on the grounds defined under the Progression Policy as procedural unfairness, or misadventure and extenuating circumstances under the Disruption to Studies Policy.
The Secretariat is responsible for assembling the panel (as per the conditions under the Progression Policy) and preparing the documentation for review.

Student and Staff Elections
The Office of Governance Services conducts staff and student elections for a range of University Boards and Committees.
