A key difference between Launch Pad and many other business and innovation support centres is our unique offering of streamlined access to Western Sydney University's Maker Space facility. This resource adds a whole new dimension to our service offering, by enabling our clients with the ability to undertake prototyping, testing and low volume production, through a great range of high technology equipment and facilities. Including: 3D printing, laser cutting, machine tools, bench and fitting equipment and electrical fitting equipment.

Scientific and Testing equipment

Launch Pad is able to facilitate access to Western Sydney University's full range of specialist research facilities and advanced scientific equipment to support research and the Western Sydney business community. This range of equipment is an outstanding asset to industry in the region. With facilities providing a wide range of analytical testing and scientific experimental work that is rarely so openly available and accessible.

The Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometer (SIMS) for example, is the only one of its kind on the eastern seaboard of Australia.

This equipment is available to both internal and external academics, students and industry. Each facility offers a range of commercial services to industry, these services can range from supervised access, fee-for-service or collaborative work.
